@05:42Wow, this is really great. The atmosphere of the video and music compliment each other and everything flows together so nicely despite it being so backwards, and it's amazing that it was only done in one take.

Great video.

@01:49from the part where he gets up to this point, there is quite a dramatic change in lighting and it looks like it goes over and under exposed in one movement which strains the eyes to keep the detail in his face.

good work anyway, especially if this was what you are aiming for :)

@04:26I don't know if you meant this or not, but there seems to be a massive gravity around the guy. As if whatever is weighing on his mind is affecting his outside world. It seems like his footsteps are weighed down as well. Then again, it might just be that everything behind him is in reverse. I'm not really that sharp.

@00:15I think the mood you've created compliments Stone's song nicely.

The first time I watched it all the way through, I kept wondering what kind of expensive video layering tool or camera train you'd used to keep his walk from bouncing out of time with the camera shake! Maybe it's early and I haven't drunk enough coffee to not be stupid yet, but it didn't occur to me to "just" have him do the whole thing backwards until I read your comments. A sleight of hand like that is great direction!

Silly little curiosity, but are these copyright symbols being chalked (er, or "unchalked") here?

Just wondered if you were throwing in some subtle social commentary.

Great work!

@00:37Oh nevermind, it changed as soon as I un-paused lol I feel dumb. I got the impression we could make notes for different parts of the film (since it says pause to make an annotation).

Director: Kevin Maistros

Production Notes:
Shot entirely in one take, without cutting. Song was played back at two and a half times the speed in reverse to achieve a backwards, slow motion effect. Christian Stone had not practiced this song in reverse and had only heard it for the first time at twice the speed in reverse the morning of the shoot. A small note for trivia is that Christian Stone is also the guitarist for the band, "Puddle of Mudd", but writes and records his own music which can be found at [link] The boy in the video is Christian's son, Gabe.
